Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a program through which a person or family purchases a share of food (meat in this case) up front, then receives portions of the share throughout the designated season.
This type of arrangement benefits both the farmer and the consumer: the farmer uses the capital to start the new season, and the consumer gets a great deal on fresh healthy food each delivery! Our Meat CSA is a 4-month supply of flavorful grass-fed Angus beef and Iowa pork packaged in quantities easy for a family to use. Each month, one box containing 15-18 lbs of our best-selling grass-fed beef and pork cuts, along with recipes and farm news, will be delivered to Seward Co-op (2823 East Franklin).
Meats are delivered frozen and will keep well for a few hours at the delivery location. Boxes must be picked up the same day as delivery. If you cannot arrange for pick-up and you contact us in advance, we will ship your share ($25/box).
Each share box contains 15-18 lbs of our best-selling 100% grass-fed beef and pastured pork products.
Shares may begin any month of the year. Sample Share Box
