New Year Greetings from
Ryan & Kristine at Grass Run Farm

In 2007, we put in miles of new high-tensel fence for our rotational grazing program; introduced the Local Burger as an option at T-Bock's Pub in Decorah; had our veal served at a dinner party attended by actor Ian McKellan; donated meats for benefit dinners raising funds for flood relief in nearby Rushford, Minnesota; bought enough well-mannered Jersey cows to start a raw dairy cow share in spring 2008 (contact us for details); shipped our grass-fed beef, pork, and veal to 10 different states; and certified our farm organic (in November).

We also broke one thumb (Ryan), launched a new website for Luther College (Kristine), moved out of our house and into the barn/house we're building (see picures below), and started a list of things Ryan's dad can do around the farm in his "retirement."
